The Azerbaijani delegation is participating in the World Travel Market -2018, on 5-7 November in London, UK in order to promote the country’s tourism potential.
According to the information, the exhibition is attended by representatives of the State Tourism Agency and Azerbaijan Tourism Board, as well as Baku Tourism Information Center, Turizm.az MICE & DMC, Absheron Hotel Group, Baku Hospitality Group, Gilan Hospitality Group, ENC TOURS, Four Seasons Hotel Baku, “OK TOURS”, “Let’s GO”, “RVS Travel”, STI Azerbaijan, Salam Tourism & Travel, PASHA Travel, Millennium Tourism Congress DMC, Premier Tour, Weekend Travel, JW Marriott Absheron Baku “,” Baku City Circuit” and “Bakusightseeing.com ”
“World Travel Market” is one of the strongest platforms for the promotion of tourism opportunities and mutual dialogue by bringing together tourism experts from different continents around the world each year. The 190-square-meter Azerbaijani stand is designed and adapted to the new brands and presented to the exhibition participants.
On the second day of the exhibition – November 6, for the first time, there will be a large-scale presentation for the international community of the new Azerbaijani travel brand -“Take Another Look”. According to the Azerbaijan Tourism Board, the campaign is of strategic importance for demonstration of the new image of Azerbaijan, raising the tourist flow and doubling the number of visitors to the country by 2023.
Azerbaijan has been participating in the World Travel Market since 2002.
Azerbaijan is currently on the peak of tourism industry in its history as it welcomed a record number of in-bound visitors spending more than US$1.3 billion in 2017, making it one of the fastest growing tourist destinations in the world.
Azerbaijan’s recent investments in tourism and country promotion – including a simplified new electronic visa procedure – are expected to improve its ranking among countries with a high tourism contribution towards national GDP, according to the World Travel & Tourism Council 2018 Impact Report.
